Beyblade: Let It Rip – The Review – Bobdunga

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHR0Cjmnl5k

Everyone’s favourite.  Bobdunga.  Twenty-six minutes?  Oh fuck.

Well…it’s either this or Pam aka CannotBeEntertaining has a 15 minute on some JRPG.  But for CannotBeEntertaining…15 minutes feels like…I don’t know…an hour?  Two hours?

I refused to even review the video before that one and that was only five minutes.  She reviewed a fucking interactive novel.  There is no way that I’m doing that.  The world’s most boring “Youtuber”.

So fine.  Crazy Bobdunga.  Let’s at least try to get through it.

0:00 – Well.  It starts with a 40 second “comedy” skit.  Bobdunga isn’t there.  It’s two horndogs that she roped into this.  They’re referencing something, I guess.  I don’t know what fucking Beyblade is.  I looked it up for a previous video that she did.  They’re toys.  I know that much.  Fighting tops.  Like spinning tops.  But I guess it was also a cartoon or something?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beyblade_(manga)

It was a manga and there were numerous anime series.  How did this slip under my radar?  Probably because I’m an adult.  And I don’t live in Japan.

1:00 – “With the summer almost over, I’m feeling seriously nostalgic for entertainment from the past.”

What?  What does the season have to do with anything?  She starts feeling *nostalgic* in the autumn?  Why?  I’m pretty sure that she’s *nostalgic* year round.  That’s her thing.  She’s capitalising on *nostalgia*.  Or at least trying to.

Hey guys!  Remember Beyblade?

No.  I must not be in the right demographic.  Maybe weeaboos in their late 20s are loving this shit.

1:15 – Then, helpfully, she starts explaining what the fuck this shit is.

3:00 – She describes some of the dialogue in this anime as “rank” and then shows a clip.  The clip is actually more clever than I expected.  But…then there’s a weirdly edited…something…of Bobdunga.  Like she found this clip…”rank”.  Whatever.

6:00 – Oh.  Ummm…Bobdunga musical montage.  She’s going to be dancing.  Dancing to some anime song.  And she’s wearing a little outfit.  Please be short.

No.  It was about 45 seconds.

Okay.  I had to take a break to process all of this craziness.  It’s just uncomfortable watching her fucking videos.  This is a crazy person.  But let’s try to press on here.

Then there’s insane footage of Bobdunga looking insane and she says, “But the best part is that none of this falls under copyright” and then there’s insane stolen footage of a police raid and insane “DMCA protected” stickers are placed on these people’s faces and insane garbled music plays throughout.

I don’t want this.  I don’t want any of this.  I want sane, intelligent content.  Is that too much to ask for?

You watch these fucking crazy Bobdunga videos and everything is screaming “STOP WATCHING THIS”.  It’s your psyche trying to protect you.

7:00 – She starts talking about the toys.  She said that she had them when she was nine years old and even went to some nerd  Beyblade convention or contest or something.

8:30 – Then another crazy musical montage.  NO!  STOP THIS FUCKING SHIT ALREADY!  I DON’T WANT THIS!

13:30 – I’m just trying to get through this.  Alright?  To be honest, my original review stopped at the nine minute mark because I couldn’t take fucking Bobdunga’s mental illness any more.  But I’m trying again, hours later, having somewhat recovered.

I don’t want to comment on the video any more.  I really don’t.  I feel physically sick watching this.

But I can’t let this one go.  It’s more fucking dancing, edited in an insane fashion.  Some fucking obese guy.  Then a guy with…I don’t know.  It’s all strange.  It’s all unpleasant to look at.  Why does she do this?  Get the help that you need.

I mean, this isn’t funny.  It’s stupid.  And it comes from nowhere.  And it doesn’t make any sense.  I don’t want to see a fat black guy dancing out of nowhere.

She’s reviewing the PS1 game at this point, by the way.

Also, I didn’t want to comment on appearance, but it looks like she’s been crying throughout this video.  It’s only now that I realise that it’s makeup.  She put makeup around her eyes and it makes it look like she was crying.  Maybe she was also crying.  I don’t know.

Okay, I’ve watched it.  It was full of insanity as per usual.  At the end, you get a list of the horndogs who are giving her money on Patreon.

Anyway, I have to lay down now.
