I’ve seen some reviews of this video online. All positive. “It’s still better than Screenwave AVGN!”
Imagine hating Screenwave so much that you’re willing to praise total trash like Irate Gamer.
I’ve watched the video and it’s fucking terrible. He paid the black guy from Ghostbusters $100 or whatever to do a little thing from Cameo. Let me see how much this actually cost…well, they give me a weird price in converted pounds but it’s about $120, I guess.
His description is “I don’t do advertisements or endorsements for businesses or services.” Do you suppose that he had this before or after this Irate Gamer video? Because that’s exactly what this is. And there is NO WAY that Ernie Hudson knew that this video was going to be used in some shit Youtube video.
Back in the day, it was popular to “hate on” Chris Bores for ripping off AVGN. I didn’t give a fuck about that. I didn’t give a fuck about any nerd rivalry between AVGN and Irate Gamer or their respective nerd fan bases. To be honest, I don’t even like AVGN and never have. I’ve watched the videos, one time each, and they were okay but I never found them funny.
But while AVGN was watchable, Irate Gamer was complete shit. The man can’t act, he can’t write, the special effects were horrendous, the whole thing was dog shit.
It’s one of those situations where you think, “How the fuck is anyone watching this?” And most sane people over the age of 12 agreed. This is shit.
But now, because of people’s irrational and homosexuality-based contempt for Screenwave, suddenly Irate Gamer is producing good content. Tell me how that works.
Let’s say that you REALLY hate Screenwave because those guys aren’t very sexy or the Screenwave era AVGN videos are terrible or whatever. Okay. I can agree with that. Those guys AREN’T sexy and the AVGN videos that they make are awful.
That has absolutely no correlation to Irate Gamer. Two people can both put out shit content. It’s perfectly possible.
But these nerds are still stuck in this bizarre AVGN/Irate Gamer fan base rivalry but now they’ve just switched sides. Whereas previously they had an irrational hatred for Irate Gamer, now they have an irrational hatred for AVGN. It’s bizarre.
Fucking Chris BORES, the man with the most suitable surname on earth, produces nothing but contemptible “content”. He does GHOST HUNTING videos. That’s where the interest in this stupid Ghostbusters video comes from.
Nobody is watching those fucking ghost hunting videos. What fucking century is this? Ghosts had a brief moment in the sun in the late 19th century. It was a fad. The pogs of its time.
How many people in this day and age believe in ethereal spirits roaming the earth? And even for that tiny segment of the population who does believe in such things, how many of them believe that Chris Bores is going to find one of these ghosts, film them, and post this inconclusive proof on his Youtube channel?
And he does those god awful Puppet Steve videos for children. For reasons that escape me, those are fairly popular. What is he making from that shit? Check SocialBlade…$160,000/year. Unbelievable.
He also did all of those…Amibo or whatever they were videos. Until nobody gave a shit about those things any more.
He just does whatever is popular at the time and tries to capitalise on that. The problem is that he has no charisma or talent. But he did okay for himself with Irate Gamer and Puppet Steve. Children obviously aren’t a very discriminating audience.
The ghost hunting is something that he’s actually interested in and NOBODY is watching that shit.
The whole genre of doing little skits for video games is awful. Pat the NES Punk is another one who made 100% trash. He at least had the good sense to end it.
These stupid fucking skits. It’s worse than community theatre. It’s worse than a school play. I don’t want to watch this bad comedy.

These videos are not only bad, you actively don’t want to watch them.
It’s the same with AVGN and always has been. But at least with him, I can watch the first few minutes when he’s talking about the game. But when that fucking special education-level skit starts, I have to either suffer through it or I turn that shit off.
Irate Gamer and the rest of these losers never even made it to this creative height. Let’s just all agree to stop the dumb skits. They’re never funny, they’re never clever, they’re never well-written, they’re never well-acted, they’re never well-produced. I’d literally rather watch an Erin Plays video.
